"Good News" from Auburn
 

This unique event, sponsored by the Community Preservation Committee and Cayuga County Arts Council, is in its second year at the Hoopes Park location. Yet this is the first time antique dealers will set up displays along with fine artists, opening the selection up to suit different tastes.

Participating fine artists and their medium:

In addition to vendors, a church group from Owasco will be selling pies and baked goods in hopes of raising funds and awareness of their restoration efforts rehabilitating their historic church. The Community Preservation Committee will be running a concession stand with hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks to raise funds for their cause as well.

Christine Bavaro will be doing a book signing for her publication, “Moving through Loss.” Bavaro, a licensed mental health counselor and licensed certified social worker, has counseled families, couples and individuals for over 30 years. She is also a bereavement facilitator and practices clinical hypnotherapy and has a private practice in Lynnfield, MA.

To raise additional funds, following the event, a pasta dinner will be held at the Knights of Columbus on Market Street. The cost is $10 per person and the dinner runs from 4:30 – 8PM. For more information, contact the Willard Chapel at 315-252-0339.
